Pandemic.
Each time I have nothing to do, all my homework and chores are done, I sit at my computer and relax. Many days out of boredom, as I don't wanna see friends in fear of spreading the virus. Some days out of want for something to entertain me, but I always keep myself distracted.
Coping.
For finding other things to do during covid I've found new hobbies, lighting candles to relax and smell, occasionally building legos because of how relaxing they are, taking baths when I want, and looking at shoes I probably wouldn't buy. but debating either way to keep me distracted.

Artist statement
Two of the images I used are of my mom, who is one of the most important people to me. She's always there if I'm having a bad day, and I'm there for her. We have our dogs and our friends, but we both find solace in each other. The environment I chose was just blank, to have 100% of the focus be on the person. I did this as I felt it would work best for this person, and I was just experimenting between a blank background and a filled one.
Some of the challenges I faced was mainly getting the right angle, and getting my dog to sit still long enough to take a picture. But the feeling of accomplishment after I did take a picture I liked of my dog was enough. Getting the right balance, lighting, and lines wasn't the hardest, and
